Precautions

The FDA has not reviewed or approved any statements by Strong Body Care Products, Inc.

The aroma from essential oils invokes a unique response from each person who uses them. Their energy affects people differently and an open mind and positive attitude will produce the best response. While they are safe for use, there are some precautions you must follow.

Store essential oils in dark, airtight bottles.

Avoid exposing product to light, air, heat, and heavy metals.

Store out of reach of anyone who will not use them responsibly.

To be safe, avoid sunbathing for several hours after applying products with essential oils.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

When using in bath, your tub will become slippery, so take precautions.

For external use only.

Always exercise caution when using essential oils and blends with children. Use only mild oils at half strength. Call STRONG BODY CARE for details and help.

If you are pregnant, avoid using essential oils during the first trimester. After the first trimester, verify the safety of any essential oil or blend you wish to use.

STRONG BODY CARE products are intended to complement your medical care. We encourage you to take our products and information to your health care provider.

We recommend you use each product by the date indicated on the bottom of the container.

STRONG LIP SAVVY should be used within a year of receipt.

Products may be stored in refrigerator to maintain freshness. Product will be hard if cold, but will soften when warmed.

Close cap after each use.

Do not share jars. Each user should have their own jar.

Always use clean hands when performing skin care.

Patch Testing

We strongly recommend a patch test before using any new skin care product. This is particularly important if you have sensitive skin or known allergies. Read the ingredients and if, for example, you are allergic to wool, do not use a product that contains lanolin.

How to patch test: Gently cleanse the inner arm area. Apply a small amount of product and rub in a small area, approximately the size of a quarter. Cover with a bandage. Do not remove bandage or wash this area for 24 hours. Then check for any sign of irritation, including redness, swelling, or blistering. If any irritation is present, do not use product. Contact your health care professional. Record your sensitivity in your medical records. If no irritation is present, proceed with product directions.

Our products are made from ingredients that are close to nature. We don't use common chemical preservatives, therefore our products have a shelf life. We use natural antioxidants, beeswax, and vitamin E in our products.

Precautions with an ostomy:

STRONG SKIN SAVVY CREAM is not recommended for use around the stoma when using ostomy equipment that adheres because the CREAM creates a barrier. It is, however, recommended for use on areas where draining or chafing is a problem, (for example, the rectal area). Cleanse the area, rinse, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of CREAM. Reapply several times a day. If you wear a two-piece urostomy system, you may remove the pouch and spray MIST on the stoma once or twice a day to maintain an acidic area. First time users should always start with a patch test!
